Every element has been intentionally designed to create a professional-quality learning environment while remaining flexible enough to support a wide variety of performances and educational experiences.
From lighting and acoustics to seating configurations and performance flooring, every detail has been selected with students in mind.

The Vision Begins
Planning and preparation continue as the Black Box Theatre begins to take shape.
February – 2026
The Space Comes to Life
The theatre space is enclosed, lighting is installed, and seating begins to illustrate how performances will soon be experienced.
July – 2026
Performance Floor Installed
One of the most exciting milestones is the installation of the theatre’s professional performance floor. Designed to support theatrical productions, musical performances, and movement, the specialized surface provides a safe, durable foundation while enhancing the versatility of the space for years to come.
A Legacy of Faith, Education, and the Arts
The Black Box Theatre proudly bears the names of Bob and Elaine Hameister, whose love for education and the arts continues to inspire future generations.
Their legacy will live on every time students step onto the stage to perform, create, and discover the gifts God has given them.
