Grandparents Day
It was a joy to welcome our grandparents to Christ Church Academy and watch our preschoolers spending time with them and sharing photos, food, and craft activities.

Our 4-yo Preschool Students had a visit from Officers Gonzales and Carino today while they were patrolling the campus. Thank you to the City of Vero Beach Police Department for keeping our students safe.
We’ve been exploring the people in our community that keep us safe as we practiced fire drills. Our 2 year old preschool class had fun dressing up as firefighters and helping each other.
Our 3 year olds love to eat… So why not teach them to cook? We had fun measuring, mixing, and blending. Lots of laughter and celebration.
Last week in the Preschool, our students learned about Advent, and what it means to us. Each classroom has an Advent Wreath, and we are discussing what Hope means in this season of Advent. They are excited for the coming of the baby Jesus!
This past week, we had a wonderful Chapel with Deacon Deb. The children heard the story of the birth of Jesus, and then they helped Deacon Deb retell the story on the felt board. We talked about the second week of Advent, and what peace means in our lives. We also practiced with Mrs. Watkins…
Preschool had a busy week preparing for our Christmas Concert, “Gifts of Christmas”, and having our Book Exchanges in the classrooms. We hope that everyone has a Blessed Christmas!
The students at Christ Church Academy are happy to be back at school in the New Year! It was a short week, but we packed in lots of smiles and fun!
This past week, the Preschoolers learned the story of Jonah and the Whale, and learned about the people of Nineveh. In music class, Mrs. Watkins used Xylophones to teach us music from around the world, expanding on the lessons we are learning in our curriculum.
Preschool was very busy this week. A highlight was an interactive time learning about The Fruit of the Spirit in Chapel with Deacon Deb and helping the children recognise the importance of working steadily.
