December Champions of the Month

Each month we are celebrating the student in each grade who gets the most votes for the characteristic on which we have focused.

In December we worked on cultivating Peace. In the Biblical context, peace is often understood as a state of tranquility, harmony, wholeness and well-being across relationships and within oneself in addition to the absence of conflict. The Hebrew word for peace is “shalom,” which encompasses completeness, welfare, and well-being. In the New Testament, the Greek word “eirēnē” is used, carrying similar connotations of harmony and tranquility. not merely the absence of conflict; it encompasses wholeness, harmony, and well-being across relationships and within oneself.

This month we are celebrating…

  • Kindergarten: Harbor
  • 1st Grade: Kamden
  • 2nd Grade: Anonymous
  • 3rd Grade: Kelsea
  • 4th Grade: Liam

Throughout the month, the children earn tokens for demonstrating the attribute and on the first Friday of the following month, the Champions (and their parents) are celebrated at Assembly.
