Lauren Walker

Third Grade Teacher

I am honored to be part of the Christ Church Academy community. I hold certifications in Elementary Education (K–6) and Special Education (K–12), and I am entering my 15th year in the teaching profession. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in both public and private school settings, gaining a broad perspective on diverse educational environments and needs.

Before my teaching career, I served as an EMT in the United States Air Force, where I was stationed in Texas, Missouri, and Mississippi. That experience instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, service, and resilience.

I am blessed with a wonderful husband, and together we’ve raised six incredible children—two of whom joined our family through adoption. Our journey has been filled with love, growth, and countless adventures.

My academic path began in music, and I continue to share that passion by leading worship at my church. Music remains a vital part of my life and ministry.

Why do I teach?

Because I genuinely love children. I am deeply committed to nurturing their hearts, inspiring their minds, and guiding them to become confident, compassionate individuals. I believe every child is uniquely gifted and capable of learning in diverse ways. My greatest joy is helping students grow not only academically, but also spiritually—encouraging them to become followers of Christ and positive role models in the world.

I am truly excited to be at Christ Church Academy and look forward to a meaningful and impactful year ahead!
