Sponsor the Bob & Elaine Hameister Black Box Theater

Dear Friends,

From Michigan to Florida and everywhere in between, Bob and Elaine Hameister built a remarkable circle of friendship defined by love, encouragement, generosity, and joy. Whether you knew them in Petoskey or Vero Beach, through Christ Church, PEO, or VNA, in the pews, on the golf course, or outside Cravings, you undoubtedly carry a special memory of this extraordinary couple.

In recognition of Bob and Elaine’s lifelong commitment to education and their deep appreciation for the arts, a group of their friends has chosen to honor their legacy by dedicating Christ Church Academy’s black box theater in their memory.

This beautiful theater space is already part of the new Lower School building, which opened this past fall. To fully realize its potential, however, approximately $250,000 is needed to equip the space with essential elements such as a movable stage, professional lighting and sound, and audience seating— transforming it into a vibrant center for creativity, learning, performance, and community engagement.

We invite you to consider joining us in this meaningful effort by making a tax-deductible gift in Bob and Elaine’s memory. All contributions will support the creation of a state-of-the-art black box theater for the benefit of Christ Church Academy and the greater Vero Beach community.

Donors will be recognized and invited to attend a dedication ceremony at a later date.

On a personal note, this project is especially meaningful to me, as Bob was my best friend, and it reflects the enduring love for Christ Church and Christ Church Academy. Regardless of the amount raised, the theater will be dedicated in Bob and Elaine’s memory. My hope is that many will choose to participate in this memorial, allowing us to collectively honor their lives, their faith, and the lasting impact they had on all of us, as well as on their beloved church and school.

As cherished friends and family of Bob and Elaine, we warmly invite you to help bring to life the vision of “The Bob and Elaine Hameister Black Box Theater”.

May God Bless and keep you,

Larry Lauffer
